This place was paradise for my watercolor. The color is Latin American with the intensity of the Wild West. The academic art history is European, where watercolour is more highly revered. The blending of these two factors with an untouched environment made this the painter’s "Garden of Eden". I painted for as long as my visa let me, three months of a long winter away from Illinois, 2010. The following year I had a one-person exhibition and painted some more. Maybe you can tell how much I loved it.
