West

12_6

I am still exploring the West with more to come. The breathtaking Rockies make the Smoky Mountains look like hills. From both sides of the mountains the prairie butts against the foothills. The vastness and beauty make it hard to catch your breath. I painted in oil the first fall after I retired in 2014, so that I wouldn’t go into teaching mode as classes began and it worked (as I became the student).
